Who doesn’t love food and pop culture? How about some sexy art with your food and pop culture? Well now you can have it all with the artwork of Keith P. Rein, artist behind the moniker “The P is for Penis.” Described as “whimsical erotica,” Keith thinks sex and sexuality should be playful.

Receiving a BFA in 2006 with a focus in photography, Keith combines his photographic knowledge with his love of illustration to create a body of work that touches upon photo-realism, pop art, and comic art. What results is a visual hybrid, combining the analogue techniques of watercolor with the modern teachings of digital painting, resulting in a unique style that is simultaneously fanciful and titillating in sweet-like-candy coated colors.
Keith “Penis” Rein has several awesome series of work, including the “Slaughterhouse Starlets” series featuring murderous movie and television stars (I need the shoes that Aubrey Plaza is wearing in this painting!), and another that references video games and pop culture (who needs their pipes cleaned?). However, my absolute favorite is his “Food Porn” series. From hot dogs and corn to peaches and pie, you’ll understand why this series has garnered him some serious attention.
