You would be forgiven if you thought the HBOMax docuseries Bring Me The Beauties was about the dark side of male modeling. RA & Doug, hosts of The Cult Bar Show, and our resident armchair cult experts, were right with you on that one. But we were all mistaken.
Less a harrowing tale of the dark side of the modeling industry and more like a Stefon skit on SNL, Bring Me The Beauties has everything. Yes, there are gorgeous male models (and a surprise Fabio storyline!), gorgeous women, summers in Nantucket, parties at Studio 54, sex, drugs, and a killer post-punk soundtrack — but there was also astrology, Eastern philosophy, and yes, babies — ALIENS.
